Whispers in the Well is the tenth core expansion for the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, plunging Illumineers into a darker, more mysterious chapter set in the Inkwell Caverns beneath the Great Illuminary. The set centers on solving the mysteries lurking in the depths.
Key elements include:
New Mechanics & Card Types:
Whispers: A new classification of cards representing half-formed, ghostly glimmers or specters drawn from torn lorebook pages.
Boost: A new mechanic used to power up Whisper cards. You pay the Boost cost and place the top card of your deck facedown under the Whisper to activate a powerful new ability.
Detectives: A new character type, prominently featuring Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde from Zootopia, that often synergizes with looking at and manipulating the top cards of your deck.
